It's been a long time since I went to the village lake.

After studying for a month at the university ,It has been a few days since I left home .Although It did not rain in colombo it rained  a lot in our village .Our mother said that it is beautiful to see the lake filled with rain. Our lake has a long history .Our lake is built by king  Mahasen . Our grand mother has told me while telling stories that the palace of king Dutu Gemunu's son prince Saliya was located where this lake  is located . I like to see the lake when it is filled with rain water . So mother said the lake was full I wanted to visit the lake . So I told my farther that I want to see the lake . Father told me that we will go tomorrow morning . I woke up early the next morning and my father and I left to go to the lake . I did not forget to take my phone . As I approached the lake ,I felt very cold . Because the water has mixed the morning breeze .What a beautiful scene . The lake looked like the sea to me . I heard the sound of small water waves hitting the  rocks like a  music . When I saw the actions of the boatmen carrying fishing nets in the middle of the lake ,I felt fear in my heart .The way water is released into the village canal is as beautiful as it is dangerous .We did not see any lotus flowers on the side of our lake we visited .Since we went to see the lake in the morning ,we were able to see something rare. On the other sides of the lake We could see a herd of elephant bathing in the morning .I saw baby elephants playing . It was very nice .I was very happy that day .

UNEXPECTED TROUBLE

  2023/01/20                                                                                                   MU/21/107 Tomorrow is our tomato  harvest day . The trees have grown tomatoes and the branches are bent  down. Red ,green and yellow tomatoes can be seen everywhere . the trees are very fertile and tall .Our tomato plantation is covered with a net ,so insect damage is less . Sandy is brown colour .her eyes is also brown .her tail is  a bit long . Sandy is not afraid of anything .She doesn't bother anyone . He is very tall . Her ears are up .Sandy is now four years old .
